He was rearranging all the house furniture, dining table clothes cushion cover , sofa cover everything. Megha was making delicious daal bati , Pakoda, Samosa , Litti chokha and Chai.
(AUTHOR ke ghar main saal main ek baar banta hai vo bhi for guest only 🥲)
In the midst of the unexpected commotion, Roshni found herself at the center of her family's concerned inquiries. Her father, Suresh, was visibly anxious, urging her to change her clothes without explanation. The tension in the room was palpable, with everyone’s attention drawn to the peculiar sight of a bird wrapped in bandages.
Dadi’s eyes were filled with both curiosity and concern as she looked at the bird.
-What happened to the bird?
she asked, her voice a mix of bewilderment and worry.
She couldn't help but wonder how the creature had come to be in such a state and what role her granddaughter might have played in it.
Megha, Roshni’s mother, turned her attention to her daughter, noticing the injury on her knee
- Meri bachi, koi accident hua hai kya, tere ghutne pe chot kaise lagi hai?” she inquired, her voice laced with maternal concern.
She feared the worst, imagining scenarios where Roshni might have been hurt.
Roshni took a deep breath, gathering her thoughts before responding.
Roshni- It was nothing serious, mummy. I found the bird on my way home. It was injured, probably from a fall or an encounter with another animal. I couldn’t just leave it there. So, I brought it back and wrapped its wing to help it heal.
Her family listened intently, their initial tension slowly giving way to admiration for her kind-heartedness.
-As for my knee, it’s just a small scrape from when I bent down to pick up the bird. I’m fine, really.
she added with a smile, hoping to ease their worry.
Her explanation brought a wave of relief over the room. Suresh sighed, his earlier tension dissipating as he realized there was no immediate danger. Megha and Dadi exchanged glances, their expressions softening with pride in Roshni’s compassion and bravery.
-Beta, you have a big heart. Dadi said affectionately, patting Roshni’s shoulder. -We’re proud of you for helping this little creature.
The atmosphere in the living room transformed from one of concern to warmth and understanding, as the family rallied around Roshni, appreciating her actions and the kindness she showed to the injured bird.
Suresh- Acha listen sit down we have something to talk to you.
He urged her to sit on the sofa as he has something important to say to her.
He looked at his mother and she nodded, giving him assurance about the "Talk".
He took a deep breath and told her everything.
- Maharaj and Maharani of Jaipur are coming with their Family to see you.
Roshni blink and titled her head couldn't understand the words uttered by his father.
Megha sit beside her daughter and hugged her through her shoulders.
- Meri bacchi badi hogayi hai , completed her college and now she will get married soon to the Yuvraj of Jaipur.
( Waiting for this day when my parents hit me with this rich marriage alliance) 🤭
Roshni was frozen couldn't understand the situation but then burst out her anger on her parents, reminding them about the promise they made to her about after completing her studies she will apply for HR department job in Business sector.
Suddenly she found her voice.
No!!!!!!!
Roshni stood resolute, her voice trembling with a mix of anger and determination. Her parents, taken aback by her sudden outburst, remained silent, unsure of how to respond to their daughter's fervent plea.
-I refuse to accept this marriage alliance, Roshni declared, her eyes filled with tears yet shining with unwavering resolve.
-You promised me that I could pursue my dreams, and now you want to bind me to a future I never chose. I deserve the chance to build my own life, on my own terms.
Her parents exchanged glances, their expressions a mixture of surprise and concern. Roshni's words echoed in the room, a powerful reminder of the promises they had made to her. Her mother, looking pained, took a step forward.
-Roshni, beta, we only want what's best for you. We thought this was a good match.
Roshni shook her head, her voice firm. -What’s best for me is to follow my own path. I want to apply for the HR department job in the business sector, as we discussed. I need you to support me in this, just as you promised.
Her father, Suresh, let out a heavy sigh. The weight of tradition and societal expectations bore down on him, but he could see the determination in his daughter's eyes. It was a reflection of the same determination that had driven him in his youth.
Realizing the gravity of the situation, Roshni's grandmother, who had been silently observing, intervened.
-Let her choose her own destiny,We must not repeat the mistakes of the past.
she said gently but firmly.
Her words brought a moment of contemplation for everyone in the room. Roshni’s parents, caught between their desires and their daughter’s dreams, knew they had to reconsider their stance.
As the tension in the room began to ease, Roshni felt a sense of relief wash over her. Her fight for her dreams had just begun, but she knew she was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
Dadi - Okay met them first , Viru --Mr.Virendra Suryavanshi is best friend of your Dadu, when he was alive. Your dadu and virendra made a promise that they will tied the marriage knots of your and Yuvraj.
THE Promise was a pact between two esteemed families, the Suryavanshis and Roshni’s own lineage.
Mr. Virendra Suryavanshi, a man of distinguished heritage, shared a friendship with Roshni’s late grandfather, a bond that transcended time and circumstance.
Their friendship was not just a matter of personal enjoyment but a union of two powerful legacies. Together, they envisioned a future where their families would be forever intertwined. A promise was made, solemn and binding: Roshni and Yuvraj, the crown prince of the Suryavanshi dynasty, were to be united in matrimony.
This promise, however, weighed heavily on Roshni. She found herself caught in the delicate balance of familial duty and personal ambition. The grandeur of the Suryavanshi name was enticing, yet it came with expectations that seemed to overshadow her own dreams. As the elder daughter, she was expected to uphold the family honor and fulfill the promise made by her grandfather.
Yet, Roshni was not one to be easily swayed by tradition alone. Her heart yearned for a life of her own choosing, a path where she could pursue her passion for a career in the HR department of the business sector. The promise, though significant, felt like a chain binding her to a future not entirely of her own making.
In the midst of these swirling emotions, Roshni’s grandmother, a wise and compassionate matriarch, sensed her turmoil.
She knew that the promise, though made with the best of intentions, should not become a burden that crushed her granddaughter’s spirit. Her own experiences had taught her the importance of testing the true nature of those who make grand declarations.
Dadi - But ,, but if you find Yuvraj A little bit smaller than you or maybe agar uske nak tujhe achi nahi lage ya uske baal ajeeb laga or haan agar uske chalne ka tarika ya baat chit ka tarika pasand nahi aya toh bhai.... hun keh denge jaiye Maharani's ji hamari phool si poti ko aapna beta jama nahi . Ab thik hai khush meri laddo.
[But ,, but if you find Yuvraj a little bit smaller than you or maybe if you don't like his nose or his hair strange and yes if you don't like his way of walking or the way of talking then ... I will tell the Maharani's ji, our flower-like granddaughter did not like your son. Now it's fine, my girl are you happy now]
Roshno smiled and go towards her room after hugging her dadi.
Suresh - But Amma how can we reject Yuvraj of Jaipur.
Dadi- Tu chup rahe , hoga vo yuvraj Jaipur ka magar mere liye meri laddo ki khushi sabse upar hai. Ab jao aur Taiyaari karo.
She told him firmly and began to cook up some plans in her mind.
She devised a plan to test the authenticity of Mr. Virendra Suryavanshi’s commitment to the promise. It was not enough for him to rely on the words of the past; he must prove that he valued the happiness and individuality of the young couple above all else. Only then could the promise be honored in a way that aligned with the values of both families.
As Roshni navigates this complex web of duty and personal dreams, she must find her voice and assert her desires. The journey ahead is daunting, but with the support of her grandmother and the love of her family, she knows she can forge a path that honors both her heritage and her aspirations.
The story of Roshni and Yuvraj is not just about a promise made in friendship but about the courage to redefine what it means to uphold such promises in a modern world. It is a testament to the power of choice and the resilience of spirit in the face of tradition.

Roshni was laying down in her room for the past 15 minutes while playing with her ( Chico)cat and (Pillu)Dog
Chico purring sitting on her stomach to make her feel relaxed and her Pillu was continuous trying to cheer her up by doing some cute tricks but she was not responding.
What is written in my fate i can't understand, i wish ishanvi was here , she could've handled the situation better.

Pillu, on the other hand, was a spirited golden retriever, full of energy and boundless affection. He represented the joy and spontaneity that Roshni often needed to be reminded of. With a wag of his tail or a playful bark, Pillu had the power to lift her spirits, no matter how heavy her heart felt. His loyalty was unwavering, and he was always ready to offer a comforting nuzzle or a warm cuddle whenever Roshni felt down.

Her- If you find him annoying or maybe not good, so give me a signal, okay? she'd say with a laugh, trusting their instincts implicitly.
After getting up she let out a deep breath and started to prepare herself for this meeting.
She chose to wear oxidized earrings, their intricate designs catching the light and complementing her features.
Her attire, a red salwar suit that fitted perfectly, accentuated her curves, adding a touch of boldness to her otherwise traditional look.
The neckline of the suit was modest yet alluring, paired with a golden royal dupatta draped gracefully over her shoulder, adding a regal touch to her appearance.

she said, her eyes twinkling - As for your grandfather, oh, he was quite the headache! I can't even begin to explain.
Her laughter was infectious, and for a moment, the room filled with the warmth of familial love.
Meanwhile, Roshni's parents were still visibly concerned. Her father, Suresh, had noticed her unusual attire and was growing increasingly tense.
Narayani- Haa ji ji pata hai, hamare samane sir dard bolte ho aap bhaiya ko magar akele main bahut yaad karte ho aap.

The scene shift to outside the house , Samrat reaches Roshni's house, instructing his driver to park the Car on thr roadside , the birds were chirping, a koyal (bird) was singing and amidst all this just as he was about to go inside he heard a soft melody which was coming from the Terrance.
Cham cham cham.....
As Samrat approached Roshni’s home, The birds sang in harmony, with the koyal’s song standing out in the pleasant evening air. The gentle rustle of the leaves created a symphony that complemented the soft melody floating from the terrace. It was as if the entire world had paused to listen, creating a moment of tranquility and introspection.
The melody,
Cham Cham Cham....
As he took a few steps back to better view the terrace, his eyes caught sight of a shadowy figure.
There she was, a vision draped in a stunning red, moving gracefully across the terrace. The color, vibrant and bold, contrasted with the natural hues around her, making her stand out like a nymph in a fairytale. Her movements were fluid, almost like a dance, and although her face was obscured by her flowing hair, there was something undeniably mesmerizing about her presence.
Samrat felt his heart quicken, an unfamiliar sensation taking hold of him. He found himself unable to look away, transfixed by the mysterious girl.
The world around him seemed to fade away, leaving only the melody and the captivating figure. His breath caught in his throat, and he realized that he was witnessing something extraordinary, a moment that felt both surreal and profoundly real.
In that brief encounter, Samrat was filled with a sense of wonder and anticipation. Who was this girl that had captured his attention so completely? What story lay behind the melody and the dance? As he stood there, he knew that this moment would linger in his mind, a mystery that beckoned him to explore further. It was the beginning of something unforeseen, a twist of fate that promised to unravel in the most unexpected ways.
He went inside and greeted everyone by touching their feet.

Vikram- Now my son is here , now call roshni beta we are eager to meet her.
His voice broken their chain of thoughts.
.
Megha nodded and went upstairs to call her down.
As she reached her room connected with the balcony of terrace, she saw roshni was marching from one place to another.
Megha- Roshni bacche , how beautiful you look today, i hope all things will went well.

Roshni nodded and followed her mother.
Just as Roshni reached The loving room , she didn't look up and started to touch everyone feet one by one.

Dadi ji stood up and kissed her forhead-

ROSHNI BALCONY VIEW

She was sitting in her swing and Samrat was infront of her in sofa chair.
Samrat - So .. about earlier it's okay sometimes it happens.
In that moment, as their eyes met, the world seemed to pause. Her beauty was mesmerizing, a blend of elegance and charm that left him breathless.
Her shiny black hair cascaded down to her waist, a silken waterfall that shimmered with every subtle movement. Her eyes, a captivating golden hue, were like the sunset reflecting on the ocean, deep and mysterious. Her small button nose gave her a delicate, almost ethereal appearance, like the gentle curves of a flower petal.
Yet, it was her lips that held his attention. Full and inviting, they were graced with a small mole just below, a mark that seemed almost deliberate in its placement. It was a feature that added to her allure, a subtle imperfection that made her beauty all the more real and striking.
The mole, a seemingly innocuous detail, held a dangerous charm. He felt an inexplicable pull towards her, as if the mole was a sign, a symbol of the challenges and temptations she might bring into his life.
Her presence was a force that could easily disrupt his carefully balanced world—a promise of both wonder and potential turmoil.
The mole, simple and small, was a harbinger of change, a signal that his life might never be the same again
A mole on her face made him gulp.
Her mole will be dangerous for him in the future.
On the otherside -

It was as if his very being exuded an aura of mystery and power.

It was as if each strand had been placed with purpose, adding to the allure that surrounded him. There was a magnetic quality about him, an inexplicable pull that drew people in, making them hang on to his every word.
Beyond his handsome exterior, it was Samrat's eyes that truly captured Roshni's attention. They were pools of darkness, reflecting a world of emotions and complexities. His gaze was intense, yet there was a hint of warmth and understanding lurking beneath.
Roshni couldn't help but wonder about the stories behind those eyes, the experiences that had shaped the man standing before her. There was something about Samrat that was both inviting and elusive, a duality that made him all the more intriguing. He was a puzzle, one that she found herself eager to understand, to unravel the layers and discover the man behind the enigmatic exterior.
