Chapter 16 New Crush?

Shanti maid- Voi cake ... bake nahi phat gaya. Bahurani ne kitchen uda diya.

Now slowly everyone was looking at Trisha and she timidly hiding behind Her husband.

Narayani ji- Trisha beta, ek baar bol deti, we would have prevented this from happening.

She said to her tenderly.

Everyone else shook their head and kritgaya was trying to control his laugh but got pinched in his forearm from Trisha.

Kritgaya hissed and behind trisha angrily but his expression soon changed after looking at her guilty eyes expression.

Kritagya's heart was racing, a storm of emotions brewing within him. His initial anger, which had flared up like a wildfire, began to vanish as he caught sight of Trisha. She stood behind him, her eyes wide and guilty, resembling a rabbit caught in the headlights.

He couldn't help but soften at the sight. The tension in his shoulders eased, and the sharp edges of his frustration dulled. It was as if her presence alone had the power to calm the tempest within him.

Krotagya - Trisha you know you really made a mess of things.

He began, his voice gentler now, there was a teasing lilt to his words.

Trisha's eyes met his, and a small, sheepish smile crept onto her face.

Trisha- I didn't mean to, I just wanted to bake cake but i didn't know how to use the oven, but I guess I made things worse.

She murmured, her voice a soft apology.

Kritagya- You sure have a knack for turning everything upside down, but I can't stay mad at you, not when you look like that.

He chuckled, shaking his head slightly.

A warmth spread through the space between them.

Nayak sneaked up behind trisha and cough to grab their attention.Kritagya and Trisha turned towards Nayak, startled by his sudden presence. His attempt at a strict tone was betrayed by the playful glint in his eyes, and a hint of envy lingered beneath his words, creating a light-hearted atmosphere in the room.

Nayak- Tum dono ka hogaya ho toh, baki rasam shuru kare?

He said.

Trisha quickly ducked down and pulled her saree pallu to hide her face from her Jeth ji. Kritagya clears his throat and look around.

Mugdha's voice cut through the tension in the room, her teasing tone unmistakable.

Mugdha- Kyu Nakku, if they want to romance, then let them be. Why are you stopping them? Khud se toh shaadi ho nahi rahi hai, aur dusaro ki ho gayi hai toh jalte hai aap Beta ji.

She stood with her hands on her waist, a playful smirk on her lips, clearly enjoying Nayak's growing irritation.

Nayak groaned, running a hand through his hair in exasperation.

Nayak- Maa, not everything is about shaadi and romance.

he muttered, though he couldn't hide the slight flush that had crept up his neck.

Smriti intervened, her voice calm and soothing.

Smriti- Bas, now you don't start here. We have a new daughter-in-law with us,let's not embarrass her.

she said, casting a gentle but firm glance at Mugdha.

Mugdha relented, her expression softening as she took Smriti's cue.

Mugdha - Alright, alright. I'll behave ji ji. she conceded, though her eyes still sparkled with mischief.

The atmosphere in the Palace shifted the moment, Samrat stepped through the front gate. His casual attire contrasted starkly with the tension that seemed to cling to him like a second skin. His eyes, pools of both pain and a flicker of joy, scanned the room, meeting the curious and anxious gazes of his family.

As Samrat made his way toward his room, hoping for a silent retreat, a voice stopped him in his tracks. It was Dada ji, his voice resonating with authority, cutting through the air like a knife.

Dada ji- Itne jaldi kyu aaye ghar aap, thodi aur der baad aana tha.

He said, his tone a mixture of anger and disappointment.

Samrat turned slowly to face his grandfather, his expression a canvas of mixed emotions. He knew that tone well ,it was one that brooked no argument, one that demanded an explanation.

Dada ji's words hung in the air.

Samrat stood there, a silent figure caught between his desires of freedom for HIS WIFEY Roshani and his Royal duties, grappling with the consequences of his actions.

The hall was silent, save for the ticking of a distant clock, each second a reminder of the conversation that needed to happen.

Samrat took a deep breath, steeling himself for the inevitable confrontation.

Samrat- Hum shaadi ke faisle se santusht nahi the, I wanted to get married on the previous time set after everyone's approval that was after 1 or maybe 2 years. I didn't know that one stupid scandal holds so much power to shake the empire of Suryavanshi. Hence, i decided to runaway last night.

In that moment, the room seemed to hold its breath, the tension palpable as everyone awaited Samrat's response.

Smriti was the first one to come closer to her Son and was about to slap him but her husband stopped her.

Vikram- Not worth it, he is 29years old Yuvraj, he can make decisions on his own.We are nobody to him so let him be.

He said as he pulled his Wife in hug, while she was silently crying.

Kritagya and Nayak run towards him and pulled him in bone crashing hug.

Nayak x Kritagya- Where were huh!!! We were extremely worried for you idiot.

Their voices held their concern for Smarat.

Samrat couldn't help but smile after witnessing their affection.

Smarat- I know i know i am sorry, i made you all worried.

He said after patting their shoulders.

After watching the brothers bond, Saksham felt like a volcano simmering inside. He desperately wanted to spoil the moment, and an idea came to mind.

Saksham - Yuvraj?? Kaha ke yuvraj?

Konse Yuvraj ?? 'Yuvraj' Title is the future of Suryavanshi Family, but sorry beta Samrat the Cowardly act you display last night. I think Bapu-sa you need to rethink your decision for Samrat.

Dada ji- What do you mean?

He asked his Younger son.

Saksham walked around the table and looked right in the eye of his Father.

Saksham- Bapu sa, saalo pehle jo Faisla aapne liye tha ki Nayak ke badle Samrat Yuvraj banne ka, i want you to do some rethinking on that decision.

After all Bhabi -sa promised that her son Samrat will prove himself worthy for Yuvraj Position.

He was digging some old dirt hidden below the palace.

[Bapu sa , the decision you made years ago that Samrat would become the Yuvraj in place of Nayak instead]

Dadi Ji- Son, that decision was made by the elders, don't involve everyone in this.

Her voice was firm as she attempted to calm the brewing storm within the family.

Her words were meant to remind Saksham of the weighty decisions made by those who had come before, decisions that shaped the very fabric of their family.

Saksham- Samrat, did you know about it? The day you were born, you snatched the title of Yuvraj from my son. But I stayed quiet for the sake of Bapu-sa. But not anymore.

He asked his heart heavy with unresolved emotions, turning to his nephew with a mixture of bitterness and longing for the truth.

His words were laced with both sadness for his son and a desperate plea for justice.

Saksham continued- Bapu-sa, Samrat is no longer fit to be called Yuvraj.

He declared, his voice resolute yet pained. It was a statement that carried the weight of years of silent acceptance now turned into a demand for fairness.

Samrat stood there, caught in the crossfire of familial expectations and personal turmoil. His eyes searched for understanding, knowing that the Title of Yuvraj had been both a blessing and a burden. The title had come with responsibilities that he had shouldered without complaint, yet it had also created an invisible wall between him and his cousin Nayak.

He recalled the moments of his and Nayak, they had shared as children, the laughter and the dreams they once built together. But those memories were now overshadowed by the unspoken rivalry that had been thrust upon them by his Kaku-sa.

Samrat's heart ached with the realization of how the decisions of the past continued to ripple through their lives, affecting not just them but the generations to come.

The hall was silent, save for the ticking of the clock-a reminder of time slipping away while the family stood at a crossroads. The elders watched, their expressions a mixture of regret and contemplation, as they witnessed the legacy of their choices unfold before their eyes.

Samrat came closer to his kaku-Sa-

Aapko jaisa sahi lage kijiye, I only want what best for my brother Nayak.

He said as his eyes holds the affection for his brother and respect for him.

Saksham- Sirf tumhare bolne se ho nahi jayega, bapu-sa aapko mere bete ka Yuvraj banne ka Ghoshna karni hoga tabhi hume yakeen hoga.

[It will not happen just by your saying, Bapu sahab you will have to announce the coronation of my son as the crown prince, only then i will believe]

Samrat nodded at him and turned towards Dada ji and touched his feet.

Dada ji was stunned but didn't offer any blessing as he was still upset with him.

Samrat looked down and said- You know what my answer is, hum chalte hai office ka kaam hai hume.

As Samrat stepped away, the tension in the room was palpable. His actions, though respectful, failed to bridge the chasm that had widened between him and Dada ji. The air was thick with unspoken words, a testament to the unresolved issues lingering between them.

Dada ji watched Samrat retreat, a mixture of disappointment and concern etching his features. The silence between them was deafening, each second stretching into an eternity.

Dadi ji- Trisha beta, aab pag-phera ka rasam hai. Go get ready, Kritagya will drop you at your home.

She said as she wanted to divert everyone's attention.

Dada ji gave a look to Saksham and retrieve towards his room.

Saksham saw this as victory and went out for his work with a prideful smrik plastered on his face as he passes Nayak, he gave a nod of satisfaction to him.

                          °°°°~~~••••

In Kritgaya and Trisha Room

Kritagya- Did you packed everything?

He asked trisha as she was changing into comfortable clothes for long journey to the home.

As he heard the door click open of their Wardore room, he breath caught in his throat.

Kritagya inner monologue- It's not fair since the day she came into my life, she taking my breathe away from me.

Pinterest pic credit.

Her overall outfit was breathtaking but her Mang tika placed on her forehead above her sindoor makes Kritgaya's heart jump in happiness . He almost said no to her for going back her home but still they have to follow the rituals.

Trisha - Chaein?

(LET'S GO?)

Kritagya dramatically rolled his eyes and went after her with a heavy heart.

On their way to Trisha Chacha ji (Roshni's Father )home-

Trisha- I was surprised when mumma said i will have pag phera at chacha ji home.

She told him as he was driving the car.

Kritagya gave her a small smile- Well i think it's the best for now, now tell me why did you click that photo of Bhai and Bhabi?

He asked her with his hardened expression.

Trisha bit her lip, a mixture of reluctance and determination playing across her face. The car hummed softly as they drove, the scenery outside a blur of colors. She knew this conversation was inevitable, and perhaps it was time to be honest, even if it meant revealing a part of herself she usually kept hidden.

Trisha- Honestly, I didn't plan on it being a secret,It just happened. I saw something beautiful, something that felt like it needed to be captured, and I didn't think twice about it.

Kritagya nodded, his expression encouraging her to continue.

She continued, choosing her words carefully-

Sometimes a moment just speaks to you. It's like, in that instant, everything aligns perfectly-the light, the emotion, the story unfolding. And you just have to preserve it. It's like capturing a piece of magic.

Kritagya- I get that, It's like you're trying to catch a glimpse of something that's fleeting, something that won't be there if you hesitate.

He considered her words, his gaze focused on the road ahead but his mind clearly tells him she was hiding something big behind her words.

Trisha smiled, feeling a sense of relief that he understood.

Trisha- Exactly, it's not about the secrecy. It's about the authenticity of the moment. Sometimes, those moments just don't wait for permission.

Kritagya- Yes a moment which so private and personal to you suddenly out of nowhere leaked into the public platform and with a scandalous headlines.

The car hummed steadily along the winding road, the cool evening air seeping through a crack in the window. Trisha sat in the passenger seat, her eyes fixed firmly on the passing landscape, while Kritagya focused on the road ahead. Silence stretched between them, heavy with unspoken thoughts.

Kritagya finally broke the silence, his voice calm but probing.

Kritagya-Trisha, I know you said you took the photo to gift them later, but I can't help but feel there's more to it. A private moment like that doesn't just end up on the internet by accident.

He was trying to understand her perspective not accusing her for anything.

Trisha shifted uncomfortably, her fingers fidgeting with the hem of her saree.

Trisha- I swear, Kritagya, I didn't mean for it to get out. It was supposed to be a surprise.

She insisted, her voice tinged with desperation.

Kritagya glanced at her briefly, his expression both skeptical and concerned.

Kritagya- trisha, you were having panic attacks when you told me about this. That doesn't sound like someone who just made an innocent mistake. Please, tell me the truth.

Trisha hesitated, her heart pounding in her chest. She knew Kritagya could see through her facade, and the weight of the secret she carried was becoming unbearable. Taking a deep breath, she finally spoke, her voice barely above a whisper.

It was my father. He told me to take

the picture.

Kritagya's grip on the steering wheel tightened, his knuckles turning white.

Kritagya- Your father? he echoed, disbelief evident in his tone.

She nodded, tears welling in her eyes.

Trisha- He said it was for the best, that it would somehow help with... I don't even know what. I just thought... I thought I was doing what he wanted."

Kritagya sighed, a mixture of frustration and sympathy flooding through him.

Kritagya-You should have come to me. We could have figured this out together. This isn't something you have to handle alone. And why the hell he wanted to to with  photos.

Trisha looked at him, her eyes pleading for understanding.

Trisha- I was scared, Kritagya. He said he will stop me from working or will created ruckus, if i don't agree with his demands. I didn't know whom to trust. But now, I just want to make things right.

Kritagya nodded, his expression softening.

Kritagya-We will make it right, I promise. But we have to be careful. This isn't just about you or me-it's about the entire Roayl Family.

Kritagya's resolve hardened as he navigated the winding roads, his mind replaying the events that had led to this moment. The betrayal felt like a cold knife to the heart, cutting through the warmth of familial bonds. His grip on the steering wheel tightened, a silent vow forming in his mind.

When the intimate photos had surfaced online, it was like a storm had hit their lives, uprooting the peace and respect they had painstakingly built.

The shockwaves of humiliation were felt by everyone, but for Kritagya, it was personal. The dignity of his bhabi and brother was not just a family matter; it was a question of honor.

As the car sped along the desolate road, Kritagya glanced at Trisha, her presence a reminder of what he stood to protect. He promised himself that he would not rest until justice was served. The person behind this disgraceful act-Trisha's own father-would face the consequences.

Kritagya- Trisha, i want you to know that I will do everything in my power to make things right. Your father... he crossed a line, and it's up to us to restore what was lost.

Trisha- I trust you, Kritagya,I believe you will do what's right for our family.

She replied softly,

Trisha nodded, her expression a mix of gratitude and sorrow

His heart swelled with determination. This was more than a promise; it was a mission. Kritagya knew the road ahead would be fraught with challenges, but he was prepared to face them. For the sake of his family, he would ensure that the darkness of betrayal gave way to the light of justice.

As they continued their journey, the sun began to set, painting the sky with hues of orange and pink. Kritagya took it as a sign-a reminder that even in the darkest times, hope remained. With renewed resolve, he pressed on, ready to confront the storm and emerge victorious for the ones he loved.

Nritya comes out of her Black Verna car & gave her a smrik - So.. M'lady you prefer at Night huh ?

Ranya ignored her and dialed her mom number. After gathering her documents, Ranya pulled out her phone to call her mom. She needed to ensure her car was picked up later, as she planned to take a ride to Royal Palace with Nritya.

Ranya- Hi Mom could you ask the driver to pick up my car later today? I won't be driving home.

Her mom's voice came through the phone, laced with curiosity.

Mom-Of course, Ranya. Is everything alright? Why the change of plans?

Ranya -Everything's fine. My car just broke down but Nritya is here so she will drop me okay mom.

As she hung up, Ranya felt a sense of relief.

Nritya was leaning on passenger car door- You coming or should i pick you up my husband.

She was teasing her as always.

Ranya rolled her eyes and walked up to her - Thankyou my biwi, now off to Suryavanshi Palace.

She said after getting inside the car.

Nritya- The what????

She exclaimed as she got in and started her car.

Nritya was driving the car while slowly humming the random song coming on her mind.

Ranya- So it's has been 2 weeks we last met Nree, and you didn't even attended Di's marriage functions.

She was complaining to her bestfriend who was avoiding her questions.

Ranya- Baba bas na , let bygones be bygones.

She pouted at her, not ready to discuss it.

Nritya was about to say something but held her tongue and choose to divert the topic.

Nrtiya- Okay so tell me about your crush then 6 years ago, where is he? In the Royal palace huh?

Ranya- Yeah obviously not even accepting my appointment and also once i tried to meet him in palace, he straight up ignored me, so from that day, i stopped wasting my time after him.

She was back to square one with her one-sided love life.

Nritya frowned- Kuwarsa Nayak na??

I saw him once, he is famous among young kiddos who are crazy about entering entertainment industry. He is hot i will give you that but i don't understand one thing - he looks like he is hiding something.

Ranya -Don't know but still,  like can you listen to me once i want to shout at him ... But still.   ...I don't know but he still visit me in dreams and he--- he..

She was fidgeting with her coffee mug with blush on her cheeks.

Nritya- oye husband i am your wife how dare you cheat on me huh.. cheater cheater.

She was teasing her to know the secretes behind her red tinted cheeks.

Ranya- No it's not like that i just.. emmmm i kind of kissed him there and when i woke up he left like a vanishing shadow.

Nritya- Okay okay now you will start to cry, let's change the topic--

JAA CHUADAILL JAA CHUDAILLL CHUDAIILLL 🎶🎶

Her ringtone roared.

Ranya- Who is this?

She asked her while covering her ears.

Nritya answered the call-

Where are you madam, the school is about to start and i saw you leaving home in saree today. Don't you dare to make any excuses now.

Her Bua called her , she is also the principal of the same school.

Nritya- I am coming just, i saw ranya and dropping her to her destination.

Bua- Fine but be fast okay, family privilege will not protect you got it?

Ends the call.

Nrtiya-Hitler bua hoke bhi saas jaisa karti hai. I mean class starts at 8 am but she wants me at school 2 hour earlier.

Sometimes i feel like give it all up but the kids are too cute, they love me alot.

She said as a faint smile appeared on he face highlighting her dimples.

Ranya- Aww rare moment to see you talk about real human beings and smiling.

She says as a teasing smile appeared on her face.

Nritya- No like come on, who like real Men when you have amazing, sizzling hot and One women Fictional men. I always fall asleep while visiting my book boyfriend/Husband/friends) and--

Ranya- Oh god book se bahar aao madam and duniya main Real Gentleman exists too okay!!

She tried to give her reality check.

Nritya- Yeah but Fictional Men has that Quality that Real life Men don't have it.

She said as her mind was travelling to sixth dimension of her book husband home.

Ranya open the passenger mirror, while applying lip gloss she asked her- Yeah and what is that?

Nritya has a dreamy look in her eyes-

She said in loud voice.

Ranya lip gloss smeared in her overall face as she was stunned by her language.

Ranya- Oye mind your language and what is--

Nritya- Don't interrupt me Okay yeah so- Big dick and the way they increase their pace and never shy away from going down on their women and always ready to spoil her from head to toe.

She said as she was dreaming of all of these scenarios happening with her.

Ranya grabbed a tissue and wiped the extra lips gloss over all her face-

YEAH big that thing i don't have it,

Nritya stopped the car at red signal-

Actually i did saw someone i think he is the one i want. He is tall , dark and handsome, mysterious personality. Approachable to strangers easily and kind to elders. I think he have big d---

Ranya- NRITYA!!!

She looked at her with her angry eyes.

Nritya- Yeah yeah i was talking about his Big heart, big heart okay.

She was mumbling while giving her pleading look.

Ranya- And where did you find him?

She asked her as she opened her water bottle and slipping some water to quenched her thrist.

Nritya- Wooo.. voo i saw him three times on traffic signal.

Ranya spit out the water-

Ranya- Soo traffic signal, i know Nritya you are kind and compassionate person but itna jyada bhi daryaa dili hone ka matlb nahi hai jab pasand ka ladka Bhikari lagne lage.

Ranya told her after calming herself down

Nrity gave her a slap to knock some sense into her- Idiot Begger nahi, he must be a  corporate employee,  nice suits and boots probably Ceo, oh my,

my dream to date A Ceo billionaire and marry him then later fuck senselessly by him will soon come true.

She was exiting while thinking about all the possibilities.

Ranya shook her head and let the girl

Dream On.

As they reached Royal Palace-

Nritya- But why here, i mean yuvraj sa ki secretary tu hai but at office not here right?.

Ranya - Shut up and follow me, sir is going to create history today because some oldie tried to harrass his

Wifey at workplace.

She murmured to her as they were guided towards meeting room on the ground floor.

Just as they were about to went inside the room, something or someone presence halted Nritya Steps.

(Haye ye kon hai, lamba Bada , dole shole mere type pakka 8 packs honge)

Nritya didn't realised she wasn't just thinking these words but saying it too, making that big Man turned towards her direction.

Nritya stood frozen, her heart pounding as she realized her thoughts had escaped her mind as spoken words. The big man before her abruptly turned, his imposing figure casting a shadow that seemed to stretch across the room. His face was covered in mask. Only eyes are visible His eyes, sharp and discerning, locked onto hers, and in that instant, the space between them filled with an unspoken tension.

Nritya's cheeks flushed with embarrassment, her mind scrambling for an explanation. How had she let her guard down so completely? Her inner thoughts, raw and unfiltered, had spilled out, drawing attention she had desperately hoped to avoid.

"Did you say something?" the man asked, his voice deep and resonant, echoing slightly.

Fin.
